Saudi Oil Min: World Oil Demand Reaching 100M B/D by 2015

Schlumberger – Saudi Arabian Oil Minister Ali Naimi predicted Sunday that world crude oil demand will reach 100 million barrels a day by 2015.

That would represent an increase of about 29% from the current global consumption of around 85 million barrels a day, as estimated by the International Energy Agency.
