Russia’s Putin to propose ‘world energy policy’ at 2006 G8 meeting

Moves to stabilise world energy supplies will top the Group of Eight agenda at next year’s meeting in Russia, President Vladimir Putin said.

‘We will propose a world energy policy,’ Putin told reporters at the end of the G8 summit in Gleneagles, Scotland.
