Russian, Iranian oil reserves offset falls

Global oil reserves were little changed in 2005 as increases in Russia, the world’s second-largest oil producer, and Iran compensated for declines in other countries, such as Mexico, BP said yesterday.

In Saudi Arabia, the world’s biggest oil producer, reserves slipped to 264.2 billion barrels from 264.3 billion.
