Respect the Environment Or Expect Disaster

Secretary of International Civil Defence Organisation (ICDO), Nawarf B. AI Sleibi, stated yesterday that if the global community does not curb its environmental abuses, then disasters could be imminent.

“In the next twenty to thirty years, the environment will undergo great upheavals inevitably requiring a change in the mode of this planet’s inhabitants,” he warned, adding that the frequency of disasters due to events such as global warming and exploitation of resources and raw materials, would increase in the next decades.
