Report: Africa`s key role in oil and gas

An influential energy consultancy says Africa will account for 30 percent of the world`s liquid hydrocarbon production increase by 2010.

Colorado-based IHS Inc. also said Monday that Africa would supply more than 25 percent of global liquid natural gas capacity by 2010.
