“It’s the petroleum equivalent to bird flu. The $3 mark has been broken [for gasoline] in the continental U.S.,” Jim Cramer told his “RealMoney” radio show listeners Friday.
“Like it or not, say hello to $3 a gallon … get ready for $4,” he said.
Cramer said that these prices are due to more than demand. They also reflect ongoing threats to the supply of oil.
