Project to make diesel from coal

A project being developed by a group of companies near Underwood, N.D., is aimed at producing 10,000 [- 50,000] barrels of “ultra-clean” diesel fuel from lignite each day.

They say it could mean a $750 million investment up front and eventually an investment of as much as $3 billion, bringing hundreds of jobs.
