Fields were spiked in Delaware County; dairy wells were tampered with again in Randolph County.
State police are asking for the public’s assistance in catching the criminal(s) who anchored sharpened spikes into farm fields near the controversial Ag Biovision Park surrounding the community of Shideler.
Meanwhile, Randolph County police are investigating another apparent case of ground water monitoring-well tampering at the controversial Union Go Dairy, an industrial-style milk farm.
Both projects generated strong opposition from neighbors who fear that air and water pollution, odors, rodents, flies, and heavy truck traffic will ruin their quality of life and decrease the value of their homes.
