Pipeline blasts ’sabotage’

Explosions blamed on sabotage ripped through natural gas pipelines running across southern Russia, cutting the supply to Georgia and Armenia as these countries suffer a cold snap.

President Mikhail Saakashvili alleged that Sunday’s blasts were aimed at destabilising Georgia and angrily demanded a quick response from Russia.
