CANADA – Cathy Brewer says her anger over high gasoline prices will not go away. Brewer joined many Fredericton-area motorists filling their vehicles this weekend at prices of $1.13 a litre for regular, self-serve fuel.
“I think they’re too high,” she said after filling her vehicle at a local station. “I think it’s hard to try to maintain your vehicle with gas prices that are $1.13 a litre. I think it’s a bit ridiculous so I’d like the government to actually do something.”
Brewer said high prices are impacting her life.
“I had to sell my SUV and buy a car because I couldn’t afford to drive,” the Fredericton resident said.
