Hi Everyone – Our hosting service was attacked and wiped out ; so peakoil.com website was restored from our last offsite backup taken Sunday Nov 26.

Posts made over the last couple of days have been lost, but everything else is restored.

    I am out everyday on the farm shortE. My time here breaks the monotony of my chores. I don’t see many people so I enjoy the interactions. Too bad the board is not like it used to be. We actually tried to help each other a few years back when doom look more immediate. This is the nature of extremism it destroys cooperation. It is the magic of cell service and a smart phone that I can farm and moderate extremist. I enjoy moderating people who spread hate and discontent.

    You aren’t bad shortE. You occasionally contribute useful info. I don’t care for your avatar. It looks like a little personal green in your back yard. I personally don’t think golf is a good example to market in the current world of decline and decay. What is your handicap?

    I suspect the outage was due to peakoil.com falling on hard times of late. Since I was banned, the site activity has dropped by more than 50%! Peakoil.com is a very sleazy operation with shady business practices. They obviously must have been behind in paying for their hosting, so they were shut off until they paid their bill! LOL.

This greatly discourages real posters and drives them from the site, since too many real posters inhibit the site’s ability to churn out their relentless bullshit day after day.

    Making this outage into more than it is. I imagine viewership is down and the click adverts are not paying enough. Who would donate to a topic like P.O.? Except for a few here P.O. has lost its impact despite being very much alive as a decline issue. It is usually when people look away from something as fundamental as PO that they get clobbered by the unforeseen.

    The site owner is one Dan, who somehow managed to obtain a legal trademark on the phrase “peak oil”. He started this fake forum way back in 2004. Many of the dedicated trolls on the staff have been here since the very beginning.

    Any real person who earnestly attempts to post on Peakoil.com will very soon become acutely aware that the site obviously has zero credibility as a homespun “community forum”, as it so disingenuously claims. The site is too fucking fake to withstand a close examination.

    Much like theoildrum, this sad little propaganda house will have a limited shelf life.

    I don’t think peakoil.com will be around much longer.

Peakoilbarrel is another fake forum composed of mostly fake commenters. These fake forums control the frame to create and manage fake news, i.e. propaganda. They are well organized and well paid merchants of doubt. Are you seriously denying the elephant in the room?

    FU, prove it I am all ears? Besides who cares really, does it matter in the bigger scheme of things? I enjoy being here and I don’t expect my presence to make much of a difference anyway. This is an obscure blog. This blog is covering peak oil that is now largely ignored. The big issue now is peak oil demand. As far as I am concerned it is all part of the same systematic decline of our late term civilization. We are just moving chairs around a sinking ship. I am here exploring issues related to that. FU, if you found a conspiracy great I would love to hear about it. One word of warning this is a conspiracy addicted forum so you will have a lot of competition I hope your conspiracy has meat.
