As the last person explains so intellectually about the future looking at the past and saying why would they of built an economy around a source that dwindles away.

Well I’m twenty four, and I could say well, long before my generation were even born there were more nuclear weapons than there are currently in 2013. Why didn’t anyone do enough in the past to dismantle the many thousands more that were in existence. I guess the same can be said for the present.

Human nature is very short term on thinking about problems past, present or future. I guess it will be tough for those in some distant decade who would be my age or younger and having to live in a world with much less than I have this year.

At least they have been recorded and many books have been written. When the current oil euphoria passes we can always dust off the books and bring out the DVD’s to beat the drum once again.

Just watched some ‘alternative’ facts on WW2 historical videos. When you get past the US/UK propaganda, the reality was much different than you get in the history books, written by the winners. You get to see how the bankers funded both sides, but mostly the UK and US, and played a huge part in the cause. Trillions of 2013 dollars were made from that war and the 60 million plus people killed. War is profitable. Very profitable, for a few.

Ditto for today and oil. The bankers still run the world and don’t give a damn how many die as long as they get richer and more powerful. But this time the war is against Mother Nature, and we know who will win. It is only a matter of when and how.

THAT is why you will see no deviation from BAU until there is no business (oil) left or the system crashes and burns and cannot recover. Then it will be too late to make ‘another, better world’. Humans are still wired for the sabre tooth behind the bush, not the threat next year.

The footage of Rupert must be fairly dated, maybe 08/09, because he mentions oil is at 80 a barrel. Hasn’t been 80 for a long time.

Rupert also says, “We now burn 6 barrels for every one we find. Five years ago it was 4, next year it will be 8.” Seems a bit too hyperbolic. I’m sure it can’t be changing that fast. Does someone have an updated accurate number on that?

American Secretary of Defense James Forrestal wrote in his diary about a little game of golf he had, December 27, 1945, with the former US ambassador to Britain Joseph Kennedy, the father of Hitler-admirer JFK and last defender of Euro-America:

That’s exactly it. Western Europe was saved from Bolshevik rule because the Germans began a preemptive strike and sacrificed themselves by attacking a USSR that since the end of 1940 had concentrated five million men near the German-Soviet border to attempt to overrun Europe until the Atlantic.

In the end we in Europe got stuck with the lesser American evil, the valiant allies of the largest bunch of mass murderers in history, the Soviets.

Happy days are not here again for you, mike. The Americans are now facing the largest challenge in their entire history, dwarfing the four biggest events in US history so far: uprising against the British, American Civil War, WW1 entry, WW2. This time Yugoslavia/Syria/Iraq will come to US soil itself. What happened in Russia, the civil war between 1917-1922, could very well happen soon in the US, a clash between Washington neo-Bolsheviks (led again by the you-know-who, just like in 1917) against the Constitutionalists. Obviously I hope that the latter will win. No guarantees though. Do you have it to defend European style liberty on US soil, mike? Or are you Soviet material after all?

The white man came to America where natives had lived for thousands of years and the white man called these people savages, de-humanized them, and proceeded to slaughter and force them onto reservations and stole their land. The land and its resources were looted and plundered and contaminated with toxins until we now face the prospect of depletion and collapse. But that’s not what the history books say.
