OPEC to discuss production cut in upcoming meeting

Impacts of the one million barrels per day (bpd) reduction in the oil production by the OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting countries) member countries will be reviewed during the organization’s January 30 meeting.

“Next OPEC meeting will be held at the end of this January during which the effects of the one million barrels per day decrease decided on in the previous meeting of the organization will be discussed” , Mohammad Ali Khatibi an official in the Energy Studies Organization told the Mehr News Agency.
