The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries seaborne exports of crude oil are expected to rise by a counter-seasonal 290,000 barrels-a-day in the four-week period to Feb. 18, tanker tracker Oil Movements said Thursday.
The four-week rolling average of shipboard OPEC crude oil exports will hit 25.22 million b/d compared with 24.93 million b/d four weeks earlier, Oil Movements head Roy Mason forecast.
“It’s both surprising and unusual,” Mason said.
