(Dow Jones)- The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries’ seaborne crude oil exports are expected to rise by 210,000 barrels a day in the four weeks to June 24, a top U.K. tanker tracker said Thursday.
Oil Movements said the rise to 24.85 million b/d from 24.64 million b/d May 27, shows that demand is rising in anticipation of increased summer demand for gasoline, particularly in the U.S.
“During this time refinery runs have to go up,” said Roy Mason, head of Oil Movements.
