Ledger/Star: What did you think of the Harper’s article?

Dan Miner: It’s very positive step forward for a national magazine to seriously discuss the problem of fuel depletion. It focuses more on the sensational aspects of the problem than I would like, but it does make for an interesting article, along with the review of American apocalyptic movements. The bottom line is that the issue is being raised by petroleum geologists and national security experts, not fringe groups.
