“They’ll be a complete investigation,” he said. “We’ll get to the root cause of the fire and we’ll work with local, state and federal officials and address any issues that come out of the investigation.”
The blaze was contained within hours of when it started Thursday afternoon, but Renfroe said it would be allowed to burn out on its own.
“The nature of these refining systems is they are pressurized so the safest thing to do is contain the fire and let it burn out until the system de-pressures,” he said.
