The production of oil on the Norwegian Shelf in June was the lowest for the month in 15 years. The average daily production reached 1,866,000 barrels, against 2,604,000 a day in June last year.
Acording to the Oil Directorate, the reason for the drop was extensive maintenance carried out on many of the fields in June.
The Directorate says that the total production of oil and gas so far this year is still within the prognoses.
