Oil production from the British sector of the North Sea continued its decline in February, falling by 13 per cent compared with the same month last year.
According to the latest monthly index from the Royal Bank of Scotland, oil production was down to an average of just over 1.7 million barrels per day (mbpd) from nearly 2 mbpd 12 months ago.
