Nigerian oil unions delay strike against kidnappings

“We are not going on strike tomorrow, but we are leaving our doors open,” PENGASSAN secretary general Bayo Olowoshile told AFP.

He said talks were underway with National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG), the blue-collar union, to map out a strategy over the insecurity in the southern volatile oil producing region.
