‘New era’ warning as petrol prices pumped up to new high (UK)

MOTORISTS were warned today of a “new era” of higher petrol costs after prices at the pump soared to a record high.

Unleaded has now reached an average of 86.21p a litre, passing the previous record of 86.05p a litre on April 17 this year, according to the AA Motoring Trust.
