Neglecting Future Problems is a Failure of Leadership

Since we are voters, the U.S. government should be responsible to us. We all have a right to ask certain things of it. On that note, we can ask Congress to take a few actions, including raising fuel-efficiency standards for cars and trucks as part of a broader effort to control explosive demand growth.
