Musharraf: Govt committed to develop agriculture, industrial sector

JEHLUM – President General Pervez Musharraf has said that government is committed to develop agriculture and industrial sector.

…He said that soaring international oil prices are contributing to inflation in the country and the government is spending billions of rupees to minimize its impact on the common people.

He assured that the government was working on a plan to control inflation and alleviate poverty through creating new job opportunities in various fields of economic activities.

The President said he envisaged the idea of LNG and CNG projects for domestic consumers after increasing demand of gas and electricity, particularly in the rural and remote areas.
