Most of China’s oil, gas reserves wait to be verified

Amid soaring energy demand, China said that as much as 78 per cent of the nation’s petroleum reserves and 93 per cent of natural gas reserves still wait to be verified.

The proven reserves of coal, oil and gold is only one-fifth or one-fourth of the possible reserves of the country, the ministry of Land and Resources (MLR)said.
