Can we adapt cooperatively and evolve collectively? Can we use this profoundly challenging situation as an opportunity to grow?

Some of those people can never be happy unless they are talking about doom. I read an article and wished I had saved it where a journalist was invited to a gathering where Guy McPherson was at along with several. The journalist said the gathering had the appearance of a funeral and little to conversations until someone started talking about mass extinction and the gathering became alive and people were smiling and just chattering about.

Interesting points made on the subject of losing our ego. Something people on the PeakOil forum could stand to learn a thing or two about (including me).
