Although this presentation is pre-financial depression in 2008, it is right on as to predictions. Fraking will not make a difference, oil peaked in 2006. Deep sea will not make a difference. Arctic, if it ever happens, will not help. Energy prices are going up and quantity is going down. THAT is the future as far as can be seen. Tech is not going to change that. Denial is not going to change it, except to make it worse. Only by adjusting to a future with minimal energy and resources, just like the 3rd world is today, can you prepare for an enjoyable life.
