(Dow Jones)–The halt to vessel movement in western Louisiana waterways, shut for five days because of an oil spill, eased slightly over the weekend but didn’t reopen the waterway that serves as a major crude oil supply route to local refineries.
Refiners have so far not tapped one means of alternative crude oil supply – U.S. government’s emergency stockpile.
