Libya seeks Opec green light to raise production

Libyan Prime Minister Shukri Ghanem said yesterday that his country was trying to win the approval of Opec to raise its production quota within the cartel.

Libya “is trying to convince Opec to revise its production quota,” Ghanem said, adding however that Tripoli would respect the oil organisation’s decisions.
