Liberia: U.S. $50 Million Investment for Sinoe County

An American investor, Leonard Kragness has unveiled an investment package of more than US$50 million for mining and oil exploration in Sinoe County, southeastern Liberia.

Mr. Kragness, who is a resident of Alaska, said he has already established a company in the country known as Sinoe Mining and Exploration Incorporated.
He made the disclosure in an exclusive interview with The Analyst at the recent certification ceremonies of Broadway Consolidated plc by the National Oil Company of Liberia recently held at the Oceanview Hotel in Mamba Point, Monrovia.

“I was first in Sinoe about 10 months ago; I made several visits in the last few weeks living with the people in the villages and doing explorations”, said Mr. Kragness, who has over 30 years experience in mining and oil explorations.

He the company is involved in making sampling to distinguish whether or not; the samples are economically prudent, adding, “Our samples look economically prudent so we are expecting very, very good results”.
