Korea Gas Corp., the world’s biggest buyer of liquefied natural gas, this week sought a $938 million loan for LNG transport ships as Asia energy firms borrow a record amount to meet the region’s rising demand for fuel.
..“LNG projects are getting bigger, the capacity of LNG ships is getting larger and production is increasing, all of which are expected to take LNG investments to about $20 billion each year worldwide,” Kostas Nikolopoulos, a London-based associate at Taylor-DeJongh, said in an interview.
