Iraq has held elections, but when Oil&Gas Middle East went to press, the country had not formed its next government, leaving it still without an oil policy.
The freshly elected legislators are split over the allocation of the nation’s hydrocarbon wealth. Exactly how much oil is there to fight over and how fast it can be got out of the ground leaves energy experts as deeply divided as the factions in Iraq’s new parliament.
