Iran ‘will face Security Council’

The UN’s atomic watchdog will refer Iran to the Security Council when it meets to discuss Tehran’s nuclear programme on Friday, diplomats say.

Russia has reportedly decided to support sending Iran to the council, as long as the threat of sanctions is withheld for at least another month.
