Iran to remove UN nuclear seals

Iran has said it is preparing to remove UN seals at some nuclear research and development sites, despite strong Western opposition to its decision to resume atomic research halted over two years ago.

Hamid Reza Asefi, the foreign ministry spokesman, told a weekly news conference on Sunday that his country was ready to resume research on Monday.
