Iran set several conditions for a Russian proposal to succeed in breaking the international deadlock over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi said.
Under the Russian proposal, Russia could carry out uranium enrichment for Iran and then deliver the fuel to the Islamic republic. The proposal is designed to allay international concerns about Iran developing nuclear weapons while guaranteeing the nation access to nuclear fuel.
