Just before that meeting in Islamabad, Iran’s Oil Minister said OPEC should wait for the market to respond to previous increases in crude oil supplies before deciding on any new output boost. He was reacting to ever-increasing oil prices, which continue to hit record highs.
Iran’s Oil Minister, Bijan Namdar Zangeneh, was in Islamabad for wide-ranging energy discussions with his Pakistani counterpart.
