Schlumberger – Sunday, BP shut in 400,000 barrels a day of production at its Prudhoe Bay field in Alaksa, erasing about 8% of total U.S. production. BP has so far not been drawn on how long the shut down would continue…
But Kazempour played down OPEC’s ability to make a difference at this time.
“What can OPEC do now, especially when we don’t have any sweet quality crude available,?” he said.
