Iran-EU nuke talks face threat of top resignation

A senior official involved in the nuclear negotiations told the FT Mr Rowhani had offered his resignation on Saturday to Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. “I don’t know if the leader will accept or not, but if Mr Rowhani goes, the whole negotiating team might go with him,” he said. “This is very serious – unfortunately it seems Iran is heading for the Security Council.”
