Hydrogen cars still a long way from take-off

THE dream of hydrogen-powered cars emitting only water vapour is slipping further into the future as car companies grapple with some of the problems.

The latest estimate is that instead of the 10 years forecast by General Motors, buyers may have to wait 30 years.
