Exactly ten years ago to the day, I was in the Kuwaiti desert waiting for George W. Bush to ‘make his decision’.
You may remember the circumstances. Ever since labeling Iraq, Iran, and North Korea the ‘Axis of Evil’ in January 2002, the President had been gradually advocating war with Iraq based on the threat of nuclear weapons.
We knew it was going to happen. At the time, I was a rising intelligence officer, my head still filled with ideals of national duty from my time at West Point.
One of the generals that I served under gathered together his officers in early 2002 and said, “We’re going to war. It’s not a question of IF, but WHEN.”
By late summer of that year, my unit was ordered to Kuwait to pre-position assets and begin gathering boots on the ground intelligence. So every time Mr. Bush would say “I haven’t made a decision yet,” I winced from the heavy stench of his BS.
But still, I held out hope.
It all came crashing down ten years ago today. On February 5, 2003 Colin Powell, four-star general turned US Secretary of State, made a case to the United Nations that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.
Now, I won’t bother delving into the inaccuracies of the intelligence he presented. In Powell’s own words, making that presentation to the UN was “the lowest point in [his] life” and a “lasting blot on his record.”
For me, it was pivotal. At that instant, I knew without doubt that my government had reprehensibly lied through its teeth. And if they were lying about this… what else were they lying about?
Everything, it turned out.
The event set me down a path on which I never looked back. The fraud of the Iraq War soon led to the frauds of previous wars, our monetary system, taxes, the global banking system, the national balance sheet, the police state, etc.
It all unraveled so quickly, and I soon realized that I was not living in a free country… that all the loud, bombastic nonsense and pledges of allegiance were illusions masking modern day serfdom.
The subsequent ten years have only reinforced this trend. The political and banking elite have given us more war, inflation, and epic financial crises. They’ve turned Western civilization into a giant police state. And they’ve managed to brainwash the great masses so effectively that the people are crying out for more.
And yet, there are solutions.
After an emotional, gut-wrenching awakening, I traveled to more than 100 countries looking for freedom and opportunity. I learned that awareness, prudent planning, and global thinking can rebuild much of our stolen liberty.
Quite simply, you don’t put all of your eggs in one basket. History shows that when governments enter a period of terminal decline, they try to control EVERYTHING– wages, prices, borders, money supply, foreign exchange, private property, etc.
Of course, these tactics never work and only hasten the decline, as everyone from Emperor Diocletian of ancient Rome to Argentina’s modern day President Cristina Fernandez [will] have learned.
As destructive as these politicians are, though, they’re easy to defeat. Individuals who take action early have plenty of options to buy precious metals, move a portion of their savings abroad to a stable banking jurisdiction, and scout out locations overseas in case they ever need to get out of dodge.
These steps make sense no matter what. It’s hard to imagine that you’ll be worse off for shipping a few physical ounces of gold abroad, having some savings stashed away in a healthy foreign bank, or taking control of your retirement account.
However if it’s a bumpy road ahead– gold criminalization, capital controls, pension fund confiscation, etc.– you’ll be well ahead of the crowd.
I had to reach my breaking point before taking these steps. Fortunately I was early. Most people either ignore the writing on the wall… or they won’t do anything until it’s too late and there are no more options. I’m willing to bet that you’re different.

My moment was while serving as a junior officer in the RCN just before Gulf War 1, I believed that story about the evil Iraqis stealing baby incubators. When I found out that it was a total lie – well, it was like learning that Santa wasn’t real. Thus, when the drums started beating for Gulf War Two: The Sequel, I was very sceptical about Dubya’s arguments.
A question for you all: How long do you think it will be until drones are killing suspected American “terrorists” within American boarders? How far will the surveillance state creep? Will the effects of peak oil destroy the government’s ability to maintain a surveillance state before all freedom is driven from American society?

I knew it was all BS when I watched the Twin Towers do an impossible collapse and then hours later, the untouched Building 7 went down the same way. Only the blind and the gullible could believe the BS that was put out as the cause. Those planes could have been full of Americans or they could have been remotely piloted from Florida and the real planes headed for Guantanamo. The missile that hit the Pentagon was all so obvious. And hitting the most harmless part of the building was just unbelievable since the easiest approach was from the other side. Odds are, we will never know the truth, but it is obvious that the US was behind it all the way.
I am not in the Us. I go back occasionally to try to talk my family into joining me outside it’s borders, without success so far. It has not gotten obvious enough for them to see reality.

It took me until 2004-2005 until I started to doubt the story. By 2008 I was convinced it was an inside-outside job, that is dirty hands-on work done by the Mossad (outside) and traces covered by higher ups (inside), first and foremost Dick Cheney (keeping the airforce down) and Rumsfeld. Bush was merely petting a goat and was not involved, just told ‘something was about to happen’. Mastermind was PNAC signatory Dov Zakheim and CEO of SPC, a company specialized in remote control of aircraft. He came up with the idea of telecrashing in the first place as well as trying to crash F77 into his own very work space in the Pentagon with the object of killing all these comptroller who were trying to figure out what had happened with the missing two trillion dollar that had disappearad… while Zakheim at the time himself was responsible! You can’t make this stuff up! Later (2010) I understood that F93 was intended for WTC7, but was shot down unplanned by the central planning, so they were stuck with a building filled with explosives, a major embarrassment… ‘so we decided to pull’. Exactly. It is impossible (and uncessary) to hastefully stuff a building with explosives in a matter of hours and bring it down. What happened was that the passengers and crew were gassed in all four planes. F93 was shot down by a local commander, not in the plot and since F77 most likely did not crash into the Pentagon (why else the haste of these FBI agents to confiscate all the videos around the Pentagon) it must have been shot down over the Atlantic, to prevent it from crashing in say France or Morocco after the fuel had run out.
The blunder they made was carrying out this stunt without realizing that five months later the ‘blog-o-sphere’ would explode on a global scale. I remember posting my first post on a Dutch forum, with sweat in hands, in april 2002 in the wake of the Fortuyn revolution in the Netherlands. Before 9/11 the internet had been around for merely 6 years, the corporate funded dot-com craze was already in tatters, but the real importance of the internet as a global peer-to-peer communication tool had yet to emerge. Now the perps are stuck, the only thing left for them is the flight forward… into war.

Amerikans don’t deserve to ‘get out of dodge’. They made there bed, let them lie in it. If they have al-ready, fine, whatever. But when it all starts to come apart, keep the animals locked up in the cage. The rest of world is suffering mightily from the free-range amerikans roaming around now. We certainly dont need them pouring over the borders of the civilized nations of the world, expecting a free HFCS meal and a house 50 miles from work and cheap gas to get em there.

my breaking point was a week after 911 and two weeks after we studied the properties of architectural steel when our mechanics of materials ii professor explained the popular science explanation for the collapse of the two world trade centers. although i was not the student to question the bold lie, we sourced our text book for the argument, lets just say, i graduated in 2003 with a degree in african american history, and the lesion learned, history repeats itself, slavery is coming back in a BIG way if we don’t change course…legalize hemp.
