Grant to push green houses

FIRST-home buyers may soon receive $10,000 grants to buy environmentally friendly houses, and commuters could get tax breaks for catching a bus or train to work.

The landmark initiatives have been championed by Federal Parliament’s Environment Committee in its long-awaited Sustainable Cities report unveiled yesterday.
