Commercial truck drivers hauling fuel are allowed to cross the border into neighboring states in search of gasoline, under an emergency order issued by Gov. John Hoeven.
Hoeven’s order last week extended the service hours for those drivers to help deal with fuel shortages at pipeline terminals in the region. The governor has now expanded the order to allow those drivers to go to South Dakota and Minnesota in search of fuel, Hoeven spokesman Don Canton said Wednesday.
