Global oil market ‘is balanced’

Qatari Energy Minister Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah said yesterday that the global oil market was “well-balanced”, adding it was premature to say what the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries would do at its next meeting in June.

“It’s an early stage to say what Opec will decide in June,” Al Attiyah said at a news conference in Paris.
