Gazprom to invest over $1.5 billion in Uzbek gas projects

Gazprom will invest over $1.5 billion in gas production and transportation in Uzbekistan within the next few years, a source in the Uzbek presidential press service told Itar-Tass on Friday with the reference to a meeting between Uzbek President Islam Karimov and Gazprom CE O Alexei Miller.
