Gazprom announces five possible partners

Russian natural-gas monopoly Gazprom said Friday that Norway’s Statoil and Norsk Hydro, France’s Total and U.S.-based Chevron and ConocoPhillips made the short list of potential partners to help it develop the giant Shtokman gas field under Arctic waters.
