Forecasters say the summer that started early this morning should be relatively normal on the temperature front, but that doesn’t mean consumers won’t be hot over what they have to pay to fill up their cars and cool their homes.
With crude oil prices hitting a new record yesterday, only 63 cents off the $60 a barrel mark, experts say gas isn’t likely to be a bargain anytime soon and should head higher just as the peak summer vacation season kicks in.
