A Russian gas pipeline “central Asia-Center” has been blown up in Volgograd region in southern Russia Thursday night, at about 3.40 am local time. No casualties were reported.
The pipeline was still burning in huge flame at the time of filing this report, about 12 hours after the explosion.
Russians never admit sabotage operations of Mujahideen against their oil and gas pipe-lines on political and economical reasons because these attacks make Russian energy deliveries unreliable for the West. The invaders say that this time the explosion “could have been caused by an old defected pipe”, reporting at the same time that it took place in an uninhabited steppe area, far from any village. So an old pipe could cause a gas leak but not an explosion, due to the lack of fire.
