Fuel Shortage at Sydney Airport

Jet fuel is being rationed at Sydney airport after a significant portion was found to be unusable and flight delays may occur if supplies do not return to normal quickly.

Testing has shown the fuel is “off specification” because it has low levels of an element that ensures there is no static build-up when the fuel is moved.
