Around the world, drivers have been resorting to some extreme measures to fight high oil prices.
..But all consumers are not created equal when it comes to oil prices…
In Europe, petrol has long been pricier than in the US because of high taxes used to fund government projects and encourage people to use buses and trams, and consumers pay double and sometimes triple what Americans do for gas. The inequality is compounded by salaries that often are lower, and in the developing world the situation is even more dire.
