A new book claims that there is enough oil, coal and gas to last the earth at least 500 years – and it doesn’t have to be polluting. But now he proclaims that the world can continue to rely on fossil fuels. And his reasoning, while consistent with his beliefs, comes as a huge surprise. The professor says he has not stopped caring about the environment; it’s just that he now believes fossil fuels offer the most sustainable future for the planet.
