Farmers Told Grain Prices May be Linked to Oil Prices (Australia)

Robert Drewitt from Suncorp says with skyrocketing oil prices, ethanol production is unstoppable.

He says this time next year, farmers will be delivering grain to some of the new ethanol plants opening in the country.

Mr Drewitt says grain growers could soon enjoy the same dramatic price rises that the sugar industry has seen in the past two years.
